"See such accomplishment. Look at this act of mass destruction," a fighter shouts.

The fighter smiles as he points the camera on his own face and his associate combatants, their RSF insignia clearly shown: "They will all die this way."

The combatants are exulting in a massacre that aid workers fear killed over thousands of individuals in the Sudan's urban center of al-Fashir in recent weeks.

An Urban Center Isolated from the World

Having held the city under blockade for almost an extended period, from August the RSF advanced to reinforce its control and restrict the remaining inhabitants.
