Shock as Popular South African DJ Killed in the City of Johannesburg.
A popular South African radio and club DJ has been fatally gunned down in the country's largest city Johannesburg, triggering widespread grief across a country grappling with persistent crime.
Warrick Stock, popularly known as DJ Warras, was gunned down in the downtown area on Tuesday afternoon.
Authorities reported the forty-year-old presenter was confronted by three individuals, one of whom began shooting at him before running away.
The purpose behind the incident has not been established and no suspects have been apprehended have been made, as per the official statement.

The DJ sought to escape after he was hit but succumbed to his injuries on the opposite side of the road.
